At the outset of the volume, Alp-Arsalan Bey initiates his preparations for an imminent assault on Anne. However, a fateful encounter takes place between Mardan, the son of Cavurt Bey, and Count Leon, leading to a consequential agreement. Count Leon proposes an alternative path: to place Cavurt Bey on the Seljuk throne, entrusting him with the responsibility of halting one of the advancing armies commanded by Alp-Arsalan Bey.
Mardan strikes a deal with Count Leon, solidifying their agreement. With conviction, Mardan approaches his father and convinces him to seize this opportunity. Though initially hesitant, Cavurt Bey’s true nature as a hypocrite prevails, and he reluctantly agrees.
Following the devised plan, Cavurt Bey arrives before Alp-Arsalan Bey and cunningly states, “The path ahead leads the Georgian troops of King Bagrat towards Surmari.” Mardan, having received intelligence from a spy, confirms this to Sultan Alp-Arsalan.

After some time, as the Georgians advanced along the designated road, Sultan Alp-Arsalan, convinced by the information, launched an attack, swiftly eliminating them one by one. However, a predicament arose when Sultan Alp-Arsalan inquired about the whereabouts of the second army. Turning to Kavurt Bey for answers, he replied, “The second army is under the command of my son, Mardan. When the Georgians attack, my son Mardan will strike from behind and vanquish them.”
Unfortunately, Mardan failed to bring his army onto the battlefield. Initially, Cavurt Bey and Mardan had intended for Alp-Arsalan’s demise, but their plan was foiled by Alp-Arsalan’s exceptional swordsmanship.
As Sultan Alp-Arsalan finally discovered the location of the second army, the soldiers revealed a disheartening truth. They reported, “Melik Mardan instructed us to stand here, but later, we witnessed him fleeing.” Mardan’s betrayal was exposed, leaving no doubt in the minds of all who witnessed it.

In the meantime, Yassin, who was trailing behind Sultan Alp-Arsalan, fell into the clutches of Count Leon and sustained injuries. Count Leon presumed Yassin’s demise, but to his surprise, Yassin managed to survive. Sultan Alp-Arsalan reached out to him, revealing the entirety of the treacherous plot. Fueled by a sense of justice, Sultan Alp-Arsalan commanded Batur Bey to locate Mardan.
However, acting against Cavurt Bey’s orders, Mardan did not seek refuge in Count Leon’s castle. Instead, he sought solace within its walls and drowned his sorrows in drink. Taking advantage of Mardan’s inebriation, Count Leon discarded him in front of Surmari and departed.
Artuk Bey captured Mardan and presented him before Sultan Alp-Arsalan. In the presence of all, Sultan Alp-Arsalan pronounced a death sentence upon Mardan. Due to his lineage, Mardan was not beheaded but rather crucified as a form of execution.
Cavurt Bey suffered greatly from these events, harboring his pain deep within, and transforming it into a burning desire for vengeance. Determined to ascend the throne, Cavurt Bey endeavored to gain the loyalty of his commanders, stopping at nothing. Those who did not pledge their allegiance directly to him met their demise by his own hand.

Meanwhile, Count Leon becomes aware that Sultan Alp-Arsalan has imprisoned King Bagrat. Seizing this opportunity, he devises a plan to install his ally, Nicola, on the throne of Georgia before Bagrat can be liberated. Simultaneously, upon learning of Count Leon’s scheme, Sultan Alp-Arsalan strategizes to place Bagrat’s brother, Dimitri, as the rightful ruler.
While imprisoned, King Bagrat learns of the devout commitment of Muslims to their sacred book, the Quran, which surprises him. Ultimately, Sultan Alp-Arsalan entrusts Bagrat with his seal and a letter, which Bagrat carries with him. As Sultan Alp-Arsalan arrives in Georgia, he discovers that Nikola has set a trap to assassinate Dimitri.
Acting swiftly, Sultan Alp-Arsalan shadows Dimitri, and when Nikola launches his attack, Sultan Alp-Arsalan intervenes, aiding Dimitri and defeating Nikola. Subsequently, Dimitri ascends the throne of Georgia, wearing a crown bestowed by Sultan Alp-Arsalan.
The primary objective of Sultan Alp-Arsalan’s plan was to maintain Georgia’s stability while forging an additional alliance for Anatolia. Remarkably, Sultan Alp-Arsalan achieves power in Georgia through his cunning and strategic acumen, without relying on the might of his sword alone.

Meanwhile, Count Leon indulges in opium at Aver Bay’s abode, consumed by his own thoughts. He implants a chilling sentence in his mind, whispering, “You shall plunge a dagger into Alp-Arsalan’s heart.” Aver Bay listens intently, becoming entranced by the notion. With newfound authority, Aver Bay rises to prominence under Count Leon’s guidance and is well-provided for before being sent to the palace.
Arriving at the palace, Aver Bay assumes a composed demeanor, leaving everyone to believe that he has forgotten everything. When Sultan Alp-Arsalan visits Aver Bay, proclaiming, “Do you not recognize me? I am your sultan, Alp-Arsalan!” Aver Bay’s gaze lifts, meeting Sultan Alp-Arsalan’s, and from that moment onwards, his mind fixates solely on that implanted sentence.
Eventually, upon Sultan Alp-Arsalan’s return from Georgia, Aver Bay betrays him, delivering a fatal stab to his heart. These events mark the conclusion of Volume 56 of Alp-Arsalan Buyuk Seljuklu. The next volume promises to reveal the fate of Sultan Alp-Arsalan and the immense grief that befalls Cavurt Bay due to the loss of his son.

কিছুক্ষণ পর যখন সে রাস্তা দিয়ে জর্জিয়ানরা আসে, সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত হয়ে আক্রমণ করেন এবং তাদেরকে এক এক করে শেষ করেন। কিন্তু মাঝখানে একটি সমস্যা হয়ে যায় তা হচ্ছে, কাভুর্ত বে কে সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান প্রশ্ন করছিল দ্বিতীয় ভাগে সেনাবাহিনী কোথায়? কাভুর্ত বে বলেনঃ দ্বিতীয় অংশের সেনাবাহিনী আমার ছেলে মারদানের আদেশে আছে, জর্জিয়ানরা যখন আক্রমণ করবে তখন আমার ছেলে মারদান পিছন থেকে আক্রমণ করে তাদের শেষ করবে।
কিন্তু যুদ্ধের ময়দানে সে তার বাহিনী নিয়ে আসে না। মূলত কাভুর্ত বে এবং মারদান চেয়েছিলো আল্প-আরসালান এর মৃত্যু, যা সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান এর দক্ষ তরবারি চালানোতে আর হলো না। এবং সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান যখন দ্বিতীয় অংশের সেনাবাহিনীকে খুঁজে বের করে, সেনাবাহিনীর সৈন্যরা সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান কে বলেঃ মেলিক মারদান তাদের এখানে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে বলেছে। পরে তারা দেখতে পাই সে পালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। তখন মারদান এর বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা সবার কাছে উন্মোচিত হয়ে যায়।

এদিকে ইয়াসিন যাকে সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান মারদান এর পিছনে লাগিয়েছিল, তাকে কাউন্ট লিওন ধরে ফেলে এবং তাকে আহত করে। কিন্তু কাউন্ট লিওন মনে করে ইয়াসিন মারা যাবে, কিন্তু ইয়াসিন মারা যায় না এবং সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান এর কাছে এসে সব কিছু বলে দেয়। তাই সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান বাতুর বে কে মারদান কে খোঁজার জন্য আদেশ দেন। এদিকে মারদান কাভুর্ত বে এর আদেশে কাউন্ট লিওন এর দুর্গে আশ্রয় নেই।
সে সেখানে মদ পান করে। এবং মাতাল হয়ে গেলে কাউন্ট লিওন তাকে সুরমারির সামনে ফেলে দিয়ে চলে যায়। আরতুক বে তাকে ধরে সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান এর সামনে আনলে, সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান তাকে মৃত্যুদণ্ড এর আদেশ দেন। এবং সবার উপস্থিতিতে মারদান এর মৃত্যুদণ্ড কার্যকর করা হয়। যেহেতু সে রাজবংশের তাই তাকে মাথা কেটে হত্যা করা হয় না, তাকে শাসরুদ্ধ করে হত্যা করা হয়।
এবং কাভুর্ত বে এতে অনেক কষ্ট পান এবং তিনি তার কষ্ট ভিতরে লুকিয়ে রেখে প্রতিশোধের আগুনে পরিবর্তন করেন। এবং সেলজুক সিংহাসনে যেভাবেই হোক বসবেন নিজেকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দেন। এই উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে তিনি তার কমান্ডারদের জোরো করে তাদের অনুগত্যতা হাসিল করেন। যারা তার অনুগত হয়নি তাদেরকে সরাসরি হত্যা করেন।

এদিকে রাজা বাগরাত জেলে বন্দি অবস্থায় জানতে পারে মুসলিমরা তাদের কিতাব কোরআন পরিপূর্ণ মুখস্ত করে, যা শুনে সে অবাক হয়। সবকিছুর পর বাগরাত সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান কে তার শীল এবং একটি চিঠি তার ভাইকে দিতে দেই।
সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান তা নিয়ে জর্জিয়ার দিকে রওনা দেন, এবং সেখানে পৌঁছে তিনি লক্ষ্য করেন নিকোলা দিমিত্রিকে মারার জন্য ফাঁদ পেতেছে। তাই সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান দিমিত্রি এর পিছনে পিছনে যান, যখনই নিকোলা দিমিত্রিকে আক্রমণ করে তখনই সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান এসে দিমিত্রিকে সাহায্য করে এবং নিকোলাকে পরাজিত করে।
এবং জর্জিয়ার সিংহাসনে দিমিত্রিকে মুকুট এর মাধ্যমে বসিয়ে দেই। মূলত সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান এর এই পরিকল্পনাটির উদ্দেশ্য ছিল জর্জিয়া এর ক্ষমতা হাতে রাখা, এবং আনাতোলিয়ার জন্য আরেকটি মিত্র তৈরি করা। সুলতান আল্প-আরসালান তরবারি ছাড়াই তার বুদ্ধি দিয়ে জর্জিয়া এর ক্ষমতা লাভ করেন।
